About Match the Color
Match the Color is a simple test of how well your eyes judge color. A random swatch appears on screen, and you have to recreate it as closely as you can with a color picker before pressing Check Match.
Every guess is scored by how close it is to the target, from 0 up to 1000 points for a perfect match, and the percentage match is shown for each round. After five rounds your total is revealed and you can play again with a fresh set of colors.
It is a relaxed, quick game for designers, artists and anyone curious about how sharp their color sense really is. Each round takes only a few seconds, so it fits nicely into a short break.
How to play
Look at the colored box and open the color picker by clicking or tapping the color wheel. Choose the shade you think matches the box, then press Check Match to score up to 1000 points. The game lasts five rounds, and your total score is the sum of all of them.

Tips
- Get the hue right first, then adjust brightness and saturation.
- The Check Match button turns into your picked color, so compare it side by side with the target box.
- Use the hex or RGB fields in the picker to fine-tune tiny differences.
- Scores are based on RGB distance, so a slightly too dark or too light shade can still earn high points.
